"Hi, I'm Marilyn — the artist behind every brushstroke. My work is inspired by the beauty of nature, born from a deep love of color, light, and the world around us."
Creativity has been my lifelong companion — from sewing and crafting to the early spark of painting. Before nursing, I explored other paths, but it was nineteen years ago that I found my calling in patient care. There is a quiet joy in being present for people in their most vulnerable moments — a joy that has shaped who I am. Yet through those years of caring for others, my brushes sat untouched. I never thought I would pick them up again. Or so I thought!
Four years ago, everything changed. With a brush in hand and paint on canvas, I rediscovered a joy that makes me feel truly alive. To me, art is like music — it stirs the spirit, evokes cherished memories, and transports you to a special place. Grounded in faith and family, I infuse that same compassion I give my patients into every landscape I paint.
Whether inspired by a rugged hike, a quiet garden, or my travels, I often see the finished piece in my mind long before brush meets canvas. My greatest privilege is to bring a little sunshine and beauty into your life, one painting at a time.
